Radical diversity inclusion strategies upending higher education pedagogy
KEVIN FRANCO
Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Strategist

As a Queer femme Latinx scholar-practitioner, Kevin is transforming the way we talk and think about workplace inclusion by having individuals and organizations recognize that social justice is a process and a goal, and with that understanding, strategic healing and radical change can occur. With over eight years of experience directly working with a spectrum of populations with varying needs- education leaders, high school & college students, teachers, administrators, and staff- Kevin has developed a critical analysis of social justice issues in different contexts and a pragmatic social justice approach (awareness, navigation, commitment) in developing people's consciousness to practicing purposeful allyship.
With a firm belief that one must understand their relationship with social justice before engaging in allyship work, Kevin has presented and facilitated trainings at higher education institutions, non-profit organizations, and national conferences that addresses the importance of building one's social consciousness from within and outward- the self and the systems. Kevin continues to critically analyze workplace issues through various lenses that focuses on the intersection of race, class, gender, and sexuality, and he continues to change minds and hearts through his work on strategic healing by assisting individuals and employers to cultivate justice and healing in their practice.
